Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ApniGaadi (the “Service”), available at https://apnigaadi.app. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service Does

ApniGaadi lets you look up information about a vehicle registered in India using its registration number. Results are compiled from publicly available vehicle registration records and may include registration status, registering RTO, vehicle class and fuel type, and the validity of insurance, PUC and fitness certificates. Personal identifiers such as the owner's name are partially masked.

Not a Government Service

ApniGaadi is an independent, privately operated service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any Regional Transport Office, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, or any other government body. For official records, use the relevant government portal.

Accuracy and Reliance

Information is provided for reference only, on an “as is” basis. Records can be incomplete or out of date — recent transfers, renewals and corrections may not be reflected. Do not rely on the Service alone for any legal, financial or safety decision; verify against the official record. If something looks wrong, tell us and we will check it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to stalk, harass, intimidate, defraud or profile any individual.
• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or otherwise extract data by automated means, or attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas or security measures.
• Resell, republish or redistribute information obtained from the Service.
• Use the Service in a way that breaches Indian law, including data protection and motor vehicle law.

We may limit, suspend or block access — with or without notice — where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.

Usage Limits

Basic lookups are free and subject to daily and hourly limits per device, account and network address. Limits exist to keep the Service available and to prevent bulk extraction, and may change at any time. Detailed reports requested from us may be chargeable; any price will be told to you before you pay.

Accounts

Some features may require you to sign in, including with a third-party provider such as Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Do not create multiple accounts to work around usage limits. You may ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it, and forms part of these terms.

Intellectual Property

The ApniGaadi name, logo, design and software are ours. Underlying registration records are not claimed as our property; our rights cover the presentation and compilation of that information.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be withdrawn.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ApniGaadi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on information provided through the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
